1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using MyNextEvent at mynextevent.org ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

MyNextEvent lets event organizers ("Organizers") create a public page for their organization, sync events from a connected Google Calendar, and share those events with visitors via a QR code or direct link. Visitors can view event details and add events to their personal calendars.

3. Account registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately via our contact form if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Post or sync events that are misleading, fraudulent, or harmful.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest data from the Service in an automated fashion without permission.
• Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial messages.

5. Google Calendar integration

When you connect a Google Calendar, you authorize MyNextEvent to read your calendar data solely for the purpose of displaying your events on your public organization page. You may revoke this authorization at any time via your Google Account settings. You are responsible for ensuring your calendar events are appropriate for public display.

6. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the content you provide (event descriptions, images, and other materials). By using the Service, you grant MyNextEvent a limited, non-exclusive license to display that content to visitors of your public page.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time via our contact form.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyNextEvent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
